Whatever the Weather

We had big storms today -- not as big as they were forecast to be, but pretty strong. That same weather system is moving up the coast. Tomorrow morning, my son and granddaughter are scheduled to fly back to DC, where the forecast is for sleet and snow. My son talked to his dad tonight (he lives just outside of Washington and is picking them up at the airport) and found out the sleet had already started. Who knows what kind of mess it will be in the morning! A delay isn't, in itself, a big deal. The big deal is waiting around hoping to get on a later flight. They may not leave tomorrow after all. Given the weather here versus the weather there, I don't think they'll mind staying another day or two.
