Disney Movies

In the past few days I have discovered that there are movies by Disney that are not cartoons. I probably knew that before, but I can't think of any off the top of my head. I know Pixar was bought out by Disney, but most of those are (I think) cartoons too, or combinations of digital animation and live action. My granddaughter has introduced me to the world of teen and pre-teen Disney movies -- which I'm sure are quite lucrative. I (half-) jokingly told her we should write one. Even she said these movies are very predictable. I guessed what was going to happen at the beginning of each of the four movies we watched, and I was right every time. Now I'm thinking about it more seriously.

We've done other things besides watching movies, but I had to work last night and this morning, so mostly we've been sticking close to home for the last two days. My TV is awful. It has a problem with the HDMI port, and the picture goes in and out. I tried replacing the cable, but it didn't help. As we watch, the screen will suddenly go black for a few seconds; it's really annoying. Anyway, I kind of like these movies, even if they aren't a genre I would have chosen. Color me surprised.
