Rabat, Day Two

Even though I will have been in Rabat less than twenty-four hours, I don't think I'll remember it fondly. It has nothing to do with the city itself; it's lovely. I am still sick this morning and am having a hard time keeping even tea in my stomach. For that reason, while I'm very much looking forward to being in Marrakech, I'm not excited about the journey there, a three-to-four-hour car ride. I'll have to ask my driver to stop frequently, and I know he will do whatever he can, but in the rural areas there just aren't a lot of places to stop.

I'm really hoping that my stomach situation resolves itself tody. Marrakech was the main reason I came to Morocco and I was thinking it would be the highlight of my trip. I want to do as many exciting things as I can, try as many exotic foods as possible, but right now I'm having a hard time gathering the energy to bathe and dress. The weather is dismal too; other than today it has been beautiful here, sunny and slightly cool, just right for sightseeing -- and climbing ruins. Ah, well, another Pepto and cup of tea and I'm sure I'll be good as new! (?)
