Time Training
For the past week or two, I've been trying an informal experiment. I usually wake up insanely early, so with the time change coming I've been attempting to alter my wake-up time. I think it's sort of worked. At the very least, I've been staying in bed longer in the mornings, which might help me adjust to the time change. Ideally, I would have had my early morning class in the second half of the semester (most of which occurs after the time change) and my night class in the first half. Unfortunately, the reality is the opposite. I'm not much of a night person anymore, especially when it comes to work, and my night class goes until 8:00 p.m. Now it will feel even later. Oh, well. It won't be so bad. All three of my assigned classes for next semester are evening classes, so I may as well train myself to be more productive at night in addition to sleeping in. Maybe next fall (I know if I have summer classes, they will be at night) I'll get back to early morning classes. In the meantime, I'll be trying to sleep past 4:00 a.m., which will be even harder after tomorrow.
