A few years ago I signed up for Freecycle. I was thinking more about getting rid of stuff than getting stuff, but I've never used it. Still, I get daily emails, and some of them have posts asking for or offering truly odd items. The one below was the weirdest one I've seen. I told my son about it and we had a good laugh. It isn't just the item, it's the idea of who would have it (it's close to where I live, and that's not exactly a rural area) and the way it's worded. Also, do goats really have strong food preferences? I've never owned a goat, but I've seen them eat garbage and cans. It's hard to believe that they'd turn down "sweet feed". Anyway, here it is, for your amusement:
Darn it! Apparently I deleted the post. But it read something like this: "Offer: 50 lbs of Wild Goat Feed. I tried a different brand and my goat does not prefer this type." Sorry, it was funnier in its original wording.
