Over-correction

No, I'm not writing about having too many papers to grade, although I suppose that too is a type of "over-correction". I've been taking my blood pressure at home as my doctor instructed, and yesterday at one point it was 100/60. I'm pretty sure that's too low. I took it again later and it had come up a little but was still too low. I've never really talked to anyone about BP medication, but from what I've read online it seems there is a learning curve in getting it just right. I mentioned a few days ago that my BP scare had made me serious about exercising, which I've done every day this week (with one exception). I know that working out can reduce blood pressure, but I doubt that it happens so fast. I'm on the second-lowest dosage of the medication. Maybe the lowest dose would suffice. My best guess is that the medication is working too well, and that's not good. I'm seeing my doctor again on Wednesday and I hope he can simply adjust the dose. This has been a major pain in the ass; I know I should have addressed the issues leading up to it earlier (weight, diet, exercise). I can't work on any of those things sooner, but I can keep from doing them later.
