My Cat is a Pain

I hate to say it, but Sophia really gets on my nerves. She is so incredibly needy! Fortunately, Mazie is willing to accommodate her most of the time, but she still tries to get all over me whenever I'm not working -- and sometimes when I am. I would have thought, after the disappearance of my dear big Sal, that suddenly Sophia would be less needy. Maybe I thought that because Sal was so aloof, Sophia felt a need to play the other extreme, and once he was gone she'd become more moderate in her attention cravings. If anything, she got worse. I try to be nice to her, but the truth is I don't like her very much. Is that an awful thing to admit?
