My rallying in the last few days of this week has kind of blown me away. I'm too tired for much self-congratulations, and I still need to cook a piece of chicken (which is all I can think about eating), but after a full day yesterday of finishing grades -- okay, it was interrupted by a brief nap! -- today I did an eight-hour shift of online scoring, gathered a few things up to take to my vintage booth tomorrow, and posted a week's worth of work for my new class. I'm annoyed because out of ten students (or maybe eleven) only one completed last week's work that I posted on June 30. I think that was last Friday. So in addition to the work I posted, I gave a brief admonition about keeping up being easier than catching up. We'll call it a pep talk.
Okay. It's been a rough week. I got nothing. However, I do want to say to you -- yeah, you! -- that you are on my mind and I hope you are recovering well and not "decompensating" out of boredom. And I'm out. [Mic drop.]
