I pay a lot of attention to my step-tracker on my phone -- even when I don't walk much. Part of the problem with tracking is that I don't carry my phone with me all the time. When I'm traveling, though, I usually do have it with me in my purse. Not counting all the steps I've taken when I didn't have it with me (bathroom breaks, etc.) I've averaged three and a half miles per day. That's not bad considering that it's been raining every evening as soon as I've gotten off work (except tonight). I thought it would be more because I took a long walk (it seemed) after work, following the River Walk around the inlets of Tampa Bay. It's beautiful, but it always feels like a storm is about to break loose. I'm glad it doesn't rain this much in Jacksonville!
Tomorrow should be the last day of my scoring project, and I'm very ready to be finished! Early in the week I had thought I would drive home on Sunday if we finished early enough. I've rethought that idea. It would be nice to just relax, even if it makes for something of a manic Monday. My class meets at 5:00 and it will take me about four hours to drive back. You know how I am about punctuality! I won't be able to settle down until I know I'll be on time for class. That makes me rethink the whole driving-home-on-Sunday thing, but unless we finish by about 2:00, I won't do it. This week has been incredibly draining. On that note, I need to close my poor little eyes -- and let them get ready for tomorrow.
