The weather has been so beautiful in the evenings that I've been tempted to sit out on my porch -- despite the fact that everything is blooming and I'm allergic to most of it. Is it worth it to be more congested if it means enjoying a lovely breeze? I think so. I'm still sick (with what I found out today is bronchitis), but rather than deter my porch-sitting, it's only made me need it more. I can't stay cooped up in the house all day with the windows and doors closed! I'm sure it also doesn't help that two days ago I made a gorgeous bouquet of azalea blooms and fern fronds from my yard. I probably get enough pollen outdoors without bringing it in. But it really is pretty.
Sorry, I'm a little delirious with fever; it isn't especially high, but it's been consistent and I feel like crap. Today I started on amoxicillin (I'm sure I spelled that wrong!) so my hope is that in a day or two I'll be better. In the meantime, I'm supposed to rest but I don't feel like it. Maybe the colder weather coming in tonight will make it easier to stay inside. Even when it's cold, though, the ocean breeze is hard to resist. In small doses, I'm sure it's good medicine.
