Sparks

We didn't have any fireworks yesterday, nor did we go anywhere to watch them, exactly. We had gone to grab a bite close to dark, and when we came out of the restaurant we could hear and see fireworks all around. My eleven-year-old granddaughter hates the noise -- the younger one doesn't seem to mind -- so we knew we had made the right choice on not going downtown or the beach. But I had a great idea: let's go to one of the Intracoastal bridges and pull over. That way, we can see the fireworks, enjoy the colors without the noise. So that's what we did. And it was fantastic. Some folks were shooting fireworks off from boats, which was really cool.

I have nothing else to say. I started one of my classes tonight and went to the grocery store on the way home; I'm wiped out. One more day of cleaning, working, and packing and we'll be off to our vacation. I am really ready!
