When Everything Takes Longer Than It Should

I have had a long day. I'm not a big fan of writing while on a public network, so I'll keep this brief and write tomorrow about my adventures. I will tell you this much: I am in a hotel, which was totally unexpected, and what's even more strange is that the Hilton had the cheapest available room in town. It wasn't extremely cheap, but we're on one of the "club floors", where drinks and snacks are laid out in a community room, ours for the taking. Unfortunately, we ate just before we arrived, so we haven't availed ourselves of any snacks now. After the day I've had, I just might pour myself an adult beverage before bed.
