Groupon Hypnosis

Over the past few months (at least) I've become addicted to Groupon. Perhaps addicted is too strong a word. I love finding deals on stuff I would get/do anyway. If you can try a new restaurant for next to nothing, why the heck not? My M.O. is to wait until days when the site is offering an additional percentage off certain kinds of deals. Sometimes it's local deals, sometimes "goods", sometimes health and beauty -- hair treatments, massages, etc. I have let a few expire, but for the most part I've enjoyed the ones I've bought. As much faith as I have in Groupon, there are certain things I won't buy there. No diet supplements, nothing that I wouldn't buy otherwise, and so on, I just leave alone.

Today I was thinking I would like to try hypnosis. While there are occasionally Groupons for that kind of service, I'd prefer to find a reputable mental health professional who is practiced in the field. I don't necessarily want to stop any certain behaviors/habits (although I wouldn't fight it). I'm more interested in weeding out obstacles that I think are keeping me from developing healthy and satisfying relationships. (I know I've said so before, but sometimes my today-great ideas lose my interest after a while. I started thinking about the hypnosis thing about five minutes ago.) Honestly, all things considered, I believe I'm pretty mentally stable. I've had some help on that, and a lot of introspection -- maybe too much.

I have heard that some people are susceptible to hypnosis while others are not. I don't know which category I fall into, but I would be willing to try. All I have to lose (besides, perhaps, a bit of money) is being stuck. I'm ready to lose that.
