The Left-out Part

Yesterday after my doctor's appointment, I was giddy (as you may have noticed). What I didn't know is that even though the actual removal of the surgical pin is no big deal, as the bone tries to close up and grow back together, the pain reaches a level that rivals that which immediately follows surgery. I found that out last night. It's better now, but I've been drugged out most of the day, just waiting it out. I'm still optimistic about my healing foot, but my elation is tempered a bit today by the pain. On the plus side, crochet and digital picture arranging are saving my life. I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow, and it will be smooth sailing from there. At the moment, however, I need to put away the computer and just rest and be patient. Ciao for now.
