Shifting Topics

Once again, the day got away from me, and rather than writing about the provocative subject I came up with earlier, I'm doing one of my "placeholder" blogs because it's getting late and I don't feel like thinking too hard. I tried not to write, but I couldn't do it. I guess it's a good thing that the habit of writing every day is so deeply ingrained I can't skip a day even when I kind of want to, but it's also a pain in the ass. From my blog-writing I do for pay, I learned how to schedule posts in advance. If I'm ever on the ball enough to do it, I should write a week's worth and set them up to publish. I know that defeats the purpose of daily practice, but everybody needs an occasional vacation.
